Hi everyone! Today we will learn how to make a shake or shake effect in Adobe After Effects CS6. Why do this? Nuuuu … sometimes you want to add speakers to your video, right? So let’s go!
There are two options for creating a shake and shake effect, for now let’s take a look at both. So the first option:
1. Select the layer to which you want to apply shake or shake, and in the Pisition section add a regular expression:
wiggle (frequency, amplitude);
2. Rejoice
The second option (especially in case you are not friends with regular expressions):
1. Open the Wiggler window (it is located at: top menu-Window-Wiggler):
2. Select the layer to which you want to apply the shake or jitter effect, specify the first keyframe in the Pisition section, and the second – i.e. the boundaries within which this effect should work. After that, select both keyframes, and in the Wiggler window select the frequency and amplitude of the oscillations + sharp oscillations should be, or soft.
3. Click Apply
4. Rejoice.
A video demonstrating all this more clearly is below 🙂
